I thought a PM had to be sent to receive an email notification? The "@" will give you an alert if you're on the forum....if you want somebody's attention apart from being logged on here you'll need to send a message.
At least that's how I thought it worked.

As usual, Thistlebloom is probably right. I have disabled all but one or two of my alerts so sending a PM is the only way to get my attention.

Hmmm. Just wondering if people actually leave the forum, taking steps to take their name off the roster. Could there be another reason why you couldn't send a private message? Can a member block private messages? Maybe if they were being stalked or something? @Nifty?

Hi Red, I'm still here and safe. Just getting back to normal after a very busy Christmas. They did have a little tornado go through the county above us (EF-0), but not much damage to speak of. We barely felt the wind off of it, although it did pour the rain. Crazy weather! I still have a few veggies growing!
