we have been getting back to more normal temperatures now. the ground is going to be too wet and cold for much of anything, but we'll see what happens. 40s tomorrow, 50s next day but rain, some 40s and sunshine in the forecast coming up. maybe it will dry out enough that i can level some work i've already done and had to leave...

froggy and damp this morning until around noon. probably froggy tonight too.
Same hear

Glory Be!! Its raining! The skies opened up and the golfers went running for their carts! Supposed to be intermittent rain all afternoon!
Oregon rain has been here, as well.

I told the lady at the pharmacy that we were having "intermittent downpours" since they are in the interior of a building and can't see out. Then, there was a twinge of guilt so I said that it's not like we live on the coast so what do I know. Well, I had to run the wipers all the time we were driving and got my jacket and hat wet walking around. Weather Service says that we had about 1/4" and that is about 3/4" for the month - can't beat that with a stick :D.

Came home for some indoor exercise while DW put leftover fish fillets between melted cheese on toast.

well, rained, hailed, and snowed just a little today ~ just enough to be silly ```

i was wondering if you got much from this yet. anything to give the ground some moisture out there is good to see this time of the year. i was getting worried that it was going to be another too dry season. i want another good or bumper year out west because the reservoirs and ground water can sure use the boost after the droughts they've been having...

Oh my goodness it's 73 today! Yay, I get to wear shorts to go workout this evening. I hate wearing long leggings since I get so hot because I wear knee sleeves too.

Supposed to rain next week and snow up at our cabin. Thinking of taking the grandkids up with us the day after Thanksgiving. Which means I don't know when I'll put up our Christmas tree.

Our rainclouds blew away ...

Clear, blue sky all day, but we won't have much warmth. The highs for the week supposed to be in the mid-40's Fahrenheit, lows mid-20's. It was 47° this afternoon.

The weekend should arrive with snow. Unless, we have some more precipitation the ski resorts will have some trouble opening Thanksgiving weekend. Not the nearest ski area but the USDA's nearest Snotel station has 5 1/4". Afternoon highs have been above freezing even at 4700'. We.will.see. Oh wait! Snotel has Schweitzer at 17". Well, that looks good to go.

Freezing rain and fog coming next week and temps at night in the shivering high twenties. I'll be gone but there will be ice on the Siskiyou Summit on I5 as we head out to San Jose and then come back. Fun driving alongside all the big rigs, especially the triples.
