We are expected to get some snow today, somewhere around 1 or at most 2 inch. Since we are quite densely populated, trains are already running at half the normal numbers and there is a traffic warming about slippery roads. Can you believe all this turmoil from 2 inch of snow? o_O:th

it is a matter of what you are used to. the place i used to live could get dumped on from lake effect snow. 100cm in a day wasn't unusual. the last winter i was there they had the 2nd highest record fall at 8.75m for the season. 15years there was enough. :)

It is finally starting to dry out from last weeks continual rainy days. But is sure is brisk in the mornings! It’s 50 degrees during our outdoor time and I’m having to wear a thick sweatshirt and my down jacket! Yes this hothouse rose is cold! :p

50 would feel balmy. We are getting a hard wind maybe 30-35 mph. Then the temps will drop. The wind chill is predicted to be -30 BELOW zero
(that is NEGATIVE 30!) at 6 a.m. :( Mary you would not have enough clothes to stay warm .
