At first it screamed weed to me. The last picture looked like perennial Echium. Is it prickly at all? If it is Echium it will have bright blue blooms or pink.

Doesn't look like black eye susan to me, I have a bunch of it growing in my gardens. It does kinda look similar to a plant I have, not sure what it is yet. I think it came from a wildflower seed mix. It didn't flower last year, but it looks like it will be this year.

I looked up Echium and it does look like it, but I never saw anything like it on my property before.

It sure is interesting. I had a blackeyed Susan last year, so I have been looking for seedlings from that too, but have not see any.

The flowers started opening today. We did not pull them in the front yard and just waited to see if they were weeds. I am not sure how many of these we have, but probably 10.

Canterbury bells! Now, why didn't I recognize it?!?

Taken not 5 minutes ago with my cell phone, against my greenhouse's north wall:

They are pretty. I just do not know how they got in the back of the house, but I guess I could have carried seeds from transplanting other flowers last year.
