Vfem, keep thinking of everyone you know who has a teenager. Also, ask your friends if they know of anyone. I think you'll be able to find one where $50 is a good amount of money.

P.S. I'll be over Sunday afternoon for some sweet ice tea! After a couple hours of weeding, of course!

vfem, I think that this will be an amazing fathers day gift! As ninnymary says, $50.00 is a lot of money to some people. I am sure you will be able to find someone that will take you up on your offer!

ninnymary, if you go to vfem's house, you have to stop at ours on the way through! :D

Sweet tea will be ready for the weekend! :ya Hahaha

I have a neighbor's son call me, and he does lawns on the side for work since his dad gave mine a riding mower. He called me and said it would be $35-$40 and he'll do a 'drive by' on his way to his dad's house down the road to give me a definite. I don't want my husband to see him! LOL

Then he'll come mow next week while hubby is at work so he'll not know until he sees it done.

:)

I am betting hubby is going to be happy I saw this thread too!

Vfem, I'll swing by and make sure this whipper snapper is a good hard worker and then we'll have some tea. :) Sounds like you're getting a good deal!

Hooray, he came and did it today... he did an awesome job too. I didn't walk around with him, but I pointed at the stuff I didn't think was obvious. He even weed whacked around a random sunflower that popped up in a rock pile I didn't care went or not. My daughter liked it there so I left it, but no big thing. He was still careful about it. :D

He did almost an acre for $45, I am peachy pleased and hubby is already home and say it. He's over the moon and I got lots of hugs. :D

Thank you all for the idea!
