The first measurable rainfall in three weeks! I had already run sprinklers on most of my yard -- in early March!

We have had over an inch of rain in the last 24 hours :). It's more than came as either rain or snow through the month of February.

My lawn suffered so much from me building the fence ... these conditions and raindrops will help it heal.

The only dangers the Weather Service, natural resources people and property owners need to be concerned about are on the burn scars from last year's fires. I trust that the rain will not cause too much trouble there.

Yes! Definitely happy to see the rain! :weee
And it was a decent amount. It's drizzling down steadily now, but we also got some hard showers this morning.

The weekdays are supposed to be alternating between rain and dry.

My garden soil is so rocky, it not only drains quickly but it has to be very wet to cause any clumping from cultivation. It would probably work the tiller too hard but, if you never lift the soil, a spading fork loosens it easily. ! Now, don't step on it !

Wish you all could have gotten some of our rain out that way. I am still walking through water to get to the chicken pen. The good news is, we are no longer in a drought.

Edited to say I am so thankful for this sunny 70* day. I sat outside on the porch and sunned my feet.

That was enough rain to let me get my ground broken, I am about half done with cutting in a new garden on my new property, anybody wanna come over and help clear the trash weeds before tilling?

Our area has been flooding the past week or so. The Ohio River is 5 feet above flood stage. We've gotten 5.77" of rain in just the first half of this month, which came on top of all the snow melt (13" of snow). Wish I could send some of it your way!
