Greetings fellow chiken fokes! I am sure that many of us will end up here. After all raising chickens and gardening kind of go hand in hand.

Hi! I found this sight through BYC.com also! I'm just beginning the adventure of raising chickens and I want to get my garden started in a few weeks. This will be a brand new garden plot at this house so I will be adding a lot of extras to it. I'm looking forward to "chatting" with everyone. Now all I need is a website like this for pigs, and I have all I need to know ; )

We have always had a small garden and a small flock of chickens.

This is our first time with a large garden,and a large flock of chickens.

We would love to hear input from everybody.

Just got here from BYC and I'm already lovin it! I am not only a chicken addict but I have plants every where! So this site is just great!

Well, I finally crossed over from BYC--guess I figured that 1 addictive forum wasn't enough! And I'm getting very antsy waiting to get into the dirt...as I watch a blizzard (no exaggeration!) kick up outside. I keep chanting "Spring will come, spring will come..."

just joined today.
I haven't been on BYC very long and noticed this site mentioned a few different places. Figured I would hope over and join...

Don't have the garden in yet....still have snow on the ground. And got more today (along with rain).
Hope this ends soon...I want to be outside, but then I wouldn't beable to be on the computer as much.... hit and read all the posts..hahahaah

It just boggles my mind that people still have snow / blizzards. I mean, I get that there are many different climates in the US, but so many people still have snow... just crazy!
