How cute it is! :happy_flower Do let us know how it tastes. Maybe I'll get some for DD6's little garden patch next year.

here it is...

we had it for lunch today...oh my it was goooood
it reminds us of a sprite melon, the flavor is a combination of cantaloupe, honeydew, pear....
it's definitely a replant for next years garden, going out later today and pop a couple seeds in and see if i can get a late summer crop.

going to save the seeds out of one, once done that will be glad to share some seeds with anyone who wants some...

So! It is a "Tigger melon" as V says!

I did a little searching - the Tigger melon comes from Armenia. Okay. BUT, it is not the "Armenian cucumber" which is also a Cucumis melo.

They are both Cucumis melo but one is called a "cucumber" because it is eaten green and sort of, looks like a cucumber. That isn't what you've got, Major'. You've got the Tigger . . . by the tail . . . I'm so confused

.

Good that it is tasty!

How big is it? At first I thought it was tiny, the cut pictures make it look bigger.
they are a bit bigger than a softball and they trellis quite nicely.
