Catalpa trees have beautiful flowers and big heart shaped leaves. They also attract catalpa worms that eat the leaves. The worms or catapillar are great fish bait!

Redbud trees are another favorite. They stay small and have lovely purple flowers in spring. Great yard tree.

Albizia julibrissin, the Persian silk tree. In some growing zones mimosa trees are invasive. In my zone they are not. I have 2 in my garden and no new seedlings popping up over many years.
