I finished processing the jalepanos. I was looking for somebody to take the rest after I had processed two pints of them, then one rotted and I thought I should just process the rest. I ended up with a total of 3 pints. My good "Salsa Party" friends and founders want a pint, but I think I'll keep the other two for winter chili making.
DH isn't afraid of my pressure canner and says he'll help me process the pumpkins, so I'm game. I have a new stove on my Christmas list, and we eat at DD's a lot now, so I guess it's time.
i forgot to mention that we can do 20-22 quarts per batch in the oven. i've never tried to see how many pints i can fit (i do quarts most of the time and then if i have odds and ends left over i might do a pint).
