I made chili the other day to bring down to my Sis' house in San Jose. Home grown tomatoes, tomatillos, miserable little peppers, miserable little onions and red onions and two shallots, lots of chard, a local grown half cow we bought last Jan for the hamburger, and lots of my left over Prince, Wowza, Orca and Butterscotch dried beans off of this year's vines. YUMMY. Homemade cornbread with butter or syrup was the side!
