Green beans! It's fun to steam them and I know that when they are no longer purple, they are done!

I've harvested two yellow crook neck squash. Grated one up last nite and make fritters. No zuc yet. Am having to buy some.

picked what was ready of the red and green peppers so Mom can whip up some more stuffed peppers tomorrow.

The first melons from the 2022 garden:



There with a few eggplant and lemon cucumbers. You can see one of the hailstone bruises on the larger "Goddess" cantaloupe. Had a slice for an after-dinner treat .

Tomatoes, More beans, a couple of lovely peaches (from a reluctant "peach fairy"), and pears.
I planted late and I see baby cucumbers starting, too.

beans and melons earlier today and a bit ago i made a snack from strawberries (from the freezer) peanut butter and chocolate animal crackers.

Tomatoes are dying so harvested all the non rotten ones yesterday and made a big pot of tomato soup. Today I'll try to can it in pint size jars. Will come in handy for quick meals.
Also loads of pepper which I haven't harvested in weeks! I need to today so I can fill up the dehydrator.
What has died/dead: Melons, summer squash, corn, cucumbers, and lots of other things that for lost in the weeds

OMGosh! What is killing your tomatoes?!? Usually mine survive up to a light frost every fall, and then I scramble to save every green one that looks good to ripen inside and can them.
