Mary they look so good, my fig trees have tiny fruit right now. I almost bought some at market till I saw price $7.99 for package of 4 :th
Wow, that seems way more expensive than here. My tree is fairly young around 4 years and is loaded! They are soooo good and so far no animals have bothered them. :fl

Romas are coming in, some pretty big. Eggs. My chickens get all sorts of treats, like all of the grass and weeds I pull, so I eat garden "seconds" every time I fry one up.

I agree with this. Not only are the chickens providing pest removal around my garden, but they clean up any garden extras or salad making scraps and turn them all into food too. Then I kill some in the fall and they have turned grass, bugs, worms, fruit and veggies into meat. It's like magic!
