Well I know some of us are starting seeds inside and others are in full blown garden season so I thought I start this thread.

Today I planted:

9 Cuor di Bue Grosso Cabbage
20 Buttercrunch lettuce

I planted them in my new raised bed hoop house and was very glad to see that it is occupied with lots of worms. I was hoping they would come but I did not expect to see them this soon. :ya

If you already have things planted in the garden but didn't plant them today you can still post it.

About 5 days ago, I planted cauliflower outside. I have already planted (and it is already sprouting!) snow peas, kale, radishes, brussel sprouts, & kohlrabi. I planted spring onions, but thus far only 1 has sprouted (they are from seed, though, so I will be glad if anything happens with them at all). Apparently, some leftover carrot volunteers from last year dropped some seeds in the soil & there are new carrot greens peeking out of soil of the raised beds that housed last year's carrots, so I'm just gonna leave those alone and watch to see what happens.

I am going to try to get off work early enough today to get out there and get spinach and red acre cabbage planted in the Raised Bed of Cruciferous Goodness.

I'm hoping that my seeds sprout!

Last frost is the 15th... so I'm hoping that we will be okay. I also hope that if I do get them to sprout, that they can be finished before it gets too hot.

Started my tomato seeds inside today and the other day I planted some lettuce in a pot to grow inside for a bit. Will move the pot outside once weather permits. Still have snow on the ground here, but it is melting :celebrate

I planted about 70 onions today. I am being a big lazy butt. I don't get outside until it is almost dusk so I only have about 45 minutes of working time. I have a lot more onions to get into the garden. Maybe tomorrow.

Oh such a beautiful day of mid 70's. I sowed lettuce, spinach, radish and onion sets a two weeks ago and they are sprouting. Green peas and a few potatoes last week, 9 cabbage, 9 cauliflower, 9 broccoli, and 2 tomatoes yesterday. I know I am pressing my luck with the tomatoes but just want to try in this beautiful weather. I can always cover them if frost, if freeze, we'll see. We are putting out the rest of the potatoes tomorrow afternoon. I have also put out some chives. My sidewalk is covered with seedlings of tomato, pepper, sage, several perennial flowers, cilantro, basil, squash, etc. I have the gardening bug really bad!

Re-started tomatoes. My coffee grounds and the container didn't maintain enough moisture. I'm growing Cushion Beefsteak and some generic Roma.
I just planted potatoes OUTSIDE yesterday. see post

I have spinach that I planted last October that overwintered and is growing. Same with some Italian blend lettuces and some radishes, but I re-seeded both yesterday, too. Also planted 80 yellow onion starts.
Gotta move my inside potatoes. The biggest is 24 inches high and peering throught he basement window. I'm moving it to my front (east-facing) enclosed porch.
Our temperatures are UN- R E A L !!!!!

I put in the last of my broccoli (it may get too hot before I can harvest but I got a late start on starting seeds this year) and my chard. Tomatoes, eggplant, basil, and peppers also went in this morning. I still have lots more to get in but my kids are on spring break, my husband is out of town, and my oldest son, who is autistic, is requiring total supervision today. More to come this weekend.

Well my summer blooming bulbs just came today... so excited and I was all ready to plant them. However, I'm sick and exhausted from all the yard work this past week... not to mention its 85 out today! UGH! So I will see how I feel tomorrow or Saturday and do it then I guess. Some of them go into pots... while the rest go in the new front bed which isn't done being prepped yet.

I wish for more cooler weather, just a little longer so I can catch up. I thought I had until Mid-April. Doesn't feel that way any longer though.
