Yesterday we planted radishes and green onions and moved some of DW flowers around. It is not really the time to move stuff around, But I am not arguing.

This weekend we planted 2 blueberry bushes in pots. We will plant them in a "high-acid" raised bed in the yard in a couple of years. We also planted some carrot seed in our regular raised beds and shasta daisy seed in one of our front flower beds.

Last weekend we planted tomatoes, squash, cilantro, bush beans, basil, sage, and marigolds in our 4x8 raised beds.

Snapdragons! Seems like I did this last year and Good Grief did they have to take some frost!!

Tomorrow -- kale and cabbage. The ground is ready for them to go in. Snuck a few more shallots in at one end. There are already lots in another garden!

I don't seem very coherent . . .

Steve :p

Corn- the leaves of the oak tree is as big as a squirells ear...old farmers lore...and in almost 50 years I have not had a problem planting corn too early...
transplanted some lettuces and spinach and swiss chard...
Peas are up and taking off...cold and rainy today...good for transplanting...

I'm planting 3 Rose of Sharons that I got from my dad and some green beans. Wish we could plant the corn, but with all the rain we've been having we can't do anything.

Mare, I dug up a bunch of Rose of Sharon, from my brother's place and planted them along a fence line. Every one lived and they have grown beautifully. I think you will have good luck with your transplants...

Just for fun, we are going to plant these 2 bean my mom-in-law gave us. They have the words "good luck" on the outside and when they grow the same words are supose to be one either the stem or one of the leaves (I'm not sure which one.)
This should be interesting!
