just that they put down so many seeds that persist for a long time that they're not easy to weed out.

considering how many of them and hollyhocks that i've pulled and dug out of the gardens i can see those tap roots just coming right along looking for a new home...

I planted the purple malva in a bed north of the garage. I don't think they liked it that shady.
