Yard long beans. Yuk! We tried every which way to cook these and could make them palatable. I picked a few young and Teresa tried to cook them like snap beans. Nope, too tough. Then I picked a bunch and shelled them and she cooked them with veggie broth and other seasonings but they just weren't any good. Tasteless. Finally after all the vines died back in the late fall I picked what was left, shelled them and cooked them like dried beans. Tasted like chalk. No, chalk would have been better. No good! No more!
