Usually a mader 'n' onion sammich or dice it up in a bowl, dump in a can of tuna, olive oil, spices~garlic salt, pepper, hot pepper flakes, watered down red wine vinegar~lots of it...like a vinegar soup, Parm cheese, bacon pieces. Ohhhhh, my mouth is watering!!!! LOVE maders that way! :drool

The last thing I think of with a ripe mader is to cook it...not unless I have a LOT of ripe maders and then I will make slumgullion.

I bet I'd like that soup ... wouldn't like the name too much, tho ;).

I like gazpacho. And, there was that tuna and pumpkin soup (with cheese) I discovered when the garden yielded such a surplus of pumpkins. Very good! However, I cooked that, although briefly. I didn't think to eat it uncooked - I don't know, pumpkins and tomatoes are both fruits ...

No. Easy on the vinegar, I might try tuna fish in a gazpacho.

Here is something similar with Mary's salad ingredients, I think.

Grilled Stuffed Mozarella Tomatoes

I'm not really a stuffed peppers fan it seems so 1950's ;). But, I like to make casseroles with all the same ingredients. It works out well for the long, Italian sweet peppers.
