A Bean Collector's Window

My bush beans are in something of a mess ~ everything is ~ because the wind has laid things over. They are getting water right now and without the crazy windstorms, I hope that the plants will straighten themselves up.

i never heard of snap beans ot that terminology. assume that means eat fresh?

Squash croquettes and cucumber and tomato salad. One thing I love in the summer time is a big old slice of tomato or two on my dinner plate. A little salt and pepper and I'm a happy, happy person.

Tonight, tomato sandwiche, pickled beets along with shish cabobs with onions, peppers, squash from garden.

I'd like you to keep an open mind about this. Someone, somewhere suggested a tomato sandwich with tomato, sprinkled with black pepper on peanut butter and toast.

That has become my favorite tomato sandwich :).

It's how I used that recent ripe tomato.
