Garden Master
Lifted the gladiola bulbs and carried them into the garage.
Took the dahlia roots out of the garage. Hauled out the peat moss and the 2020 dahias are now stored in the basement ... navigating our very steep, treacherous basement stairs in the process.
The final load of carrots were packed out of the garden and a nice big bucket of onions was carried down those steps to fill a basket. After several days curing in the greenhouse for protection against frost, they joined the potatoes down there.
The winter squash should come out of the garage, be selected for maturity, and go down. I don't think that hanging out in the garage can be considered "curing." I fully intend to have a pumpkin joining them. I will be modifying my Zucchini Soup recipe yet again this winter by trying it with tilapia instead of tuna in an attempt to win DW over with a bowl of hot Pumpkin Tilapia Soup.
Looking up in the early morning sky, I can tell, it will be ᵃ ˢᵘⁿⁿʸ ᵈᵃʸ !
