Oh thats the problem that causes the ponding. It goes nowhere unless it gets really crazy. We had 6 inches one day not long ago. That day was crazy.Wow... I've just realized that my drainage issues are really not that bad. I hope you don't lose any topsoil, @Dirtmechanic .
We found some wild onions last fall while hiking and they tasted like garlic mixed with onions. So yummy! We threw them in a stir fry!My friend and I found wild garlic. Would anyone know how deep this plants roots go? I would love to collect a little, it is completely spread in vast quantities near a river. I am hoping to collect some on our next visit. Should I take a pot and trowel. I am so excited to have found it . It smells so yummy
Are your barrels horizontal or vertical for composting?I planted squash seeds today and getting a spot ready for cucumbers. I have a few cucumber plants trying to harden off but rain and pretty cool at night lately. I pretty much have everything planted. Beans are coming up. I can start bringing in collards to eat or freeze now. Lots of weeding and I have barrels I am getting ready for composting.
Cornmeal? Purpose?I sprayed the first time this year for fungus but it rained a lottle so I went back out and put cornmeal on the squash and tomatoes.
