That half a teaspoon makes a difference for me. More than that and it's too sweet.That's the way I always drank it until I tried the flavored creamer. Too much sugar and it ruined it for me.

I did once. I could taste a funny metalic taste so didn't like it. I actually use raw brown cane sugar.Mary have you tried stevia ? It is much sweeter then sugar so you use less

Although ginseng is one of the herbs in that Oriental coffee, I'm not a fan of ginseng per se. Don't like that earthy, "off" flavor. Can't really taste it in the coffee, though.
