I have a two bin system that are my main composting bins, one is cooking(I hope) and the other I'm still filling up. These are made out of junk I found around the yard. After I'm done filling the second one I'm going to let them both finish and when they're empty tear them down to make new ones out or cinder blocks. I then have two cylinders made out of chicken wire that have been filled to the top with leaves and kitchen scraps and left to "cook". I'm going to dump and stir these soon. I'm lazy when it comes to composting, I've never turned one, but I want it to finish sooner so I better start.
I almost forgot I do have a pile in the back of the yard with only leaves that has been there untouched for almost a year. My hose wont reach to it to keep it moist. I should stir/move it.
