What happened to my beans?!?

My bush beans sat there looking the same for a couple weeks- now they have more flowers than leaves!! Patience....

If the vines are good and green, I would wait them out. Don't give them anymore fertilizer under any circumstances, and I would keep them well-watered. I feel like at some point they will start to bear and then you'll be swimming in beans... I hope.
On April 30th, I planted six "double" 20' rows of Fortex pole beans from Johnny's Selected Seeds. As a result, I have just finished canning my 94th quart from this crop. I have been blessed to have harvested 89 1/2 pounds of them this year.
Don't give up!

Holy beans, veggiepak!! I am hoping for a large harvest....but I think I will be careful what I wish for!! Enjoy your harvest!
