heh, i buy the cheap stuff. and the vodka certainly smells of garlic when i'm done!
i've saved my potatoes the past couple years and hardly have an issue. i rotate where the potatoes are growing each year so it lessens the likelihood of having a virus/fungus issue. i wonder if the alcohol/vodka would work on those too.

Hum-m-m-m. Doesn't Vodka come from potatoes? Could I use up all my winter spuds making Vodka?
