I know i allready have earwigs coz i see 'em under old pieces o' plastic the previous gardner left behind. I also find 'em under some old dog food bags i used to cover my seedlings from cold weather nights before it got SCREEEEMIN EGG FRYIN HOT HERE :lol:
I'll do the paper trick next to my peas tho and let y'all know what i catch.

You could also put small dishes of liquid dish detergent in the area, the earwigs like that and end up drowning in it. That's what we do when we have earwigs around our plants. Good luck! :)

We do something similar. We put out flat dishes of flat beer at night, at the edges of the beds, nestled down level with the soil. Pie pans work. Slugs and earwigs are what we catch, but we pick them up early.

When I lift up my chickens water bottle they are under it because it is damp and cool the chickens gobble them up fast.

Some great suggestions, I'll have to try them, I like the dish detregent.
