World War Three
Runaway Global Warming
Nuclear Winter
Major Epidemic
Mass Worldwide Starvation
Insect Plague
Overpopulation
Gangs of Thieves and Killers

Things like that at the MACRO level

Or was your question about MICRO level fears?
Such as;
A crazed Bear breaking into my cabin at night.
A Mountain Lion sneaking up behind me.
Some armed fugitive on the run.

Or was your question about philosophical things?
Such as;
Where have all the real hippies gone?
Why did the real hippies sell out to materialism?
Am I the only one left?

Or was your question rhetorical only?
Such as;
(Think about it, but don't talk about it.)
or, just kidding.

Amongst the things youve mentioned Marshall there are only 3 things Im afraid of:

- World War 3
- Thieves
- Killers

I'm also afraid of natural disasters like:

- Tsunami
- Earthquakes
- Twister
- and the likes

The inevitable:

- Death :fl

Marshall, I wrote 5 or 6 paragraphs, you know how I am . . .

Then, I deleted them all in favor of just a question mark :p.

Right now, I am a little afraid to say much since this could go the way everyone wants and that would be FINE with me. This morning, I was just distressing over the amount of fear that some folks have in their life and the behavior that seems to be the result from that fear.

Well, it seems to work for me, Smiles!

I mean, after I'd written those "5 or 6 paragraphs" expressing some worry (if not outright fear) about what must be the thinking behind some of this behavior that I find distressing -- I just deleted it. And, felt better right away!

It would be wonderful if people would "Greet the world each day with Smiles." They'd find it a better place to live than just huddling down behind walls or, celebrating violence . . . oh please - Enough of That!

At the risk of sounding arrogant, there's nothing I'm afraid of for myself. I've been through miscarriages, divorce, 2 cancers, major abdominal surgery, an assault, car accident, tornado, major earthquakes, fire, floods, hurricane force winds, and once getting really really lost somewhere between the I5 and 101 in California.

The only fears I have are for my family, and if anybody touches a hair on their heads, they will have this very strong, determined, straight-shooting granny to answer to.

(Oh, and I'm a little bit afraid of those big black and yellow garden spiders, even tho I know they are not to be feared.)
