I thought a few minutes about putting a comic on this page. Still, it's a good way for me to express a thought regarding 🎶.

The Monkees showed up too late for me and their show was considered much too juvenile. Sure, I was likely tapping my toe when I heard their music ;).

Having these new hearing aids which enable better hearing of music has brought recent changes and I continue listening for maybe an hour every day. I'm still, very much, in the R&B/Blues orientation. But, things have changed a little. Just an example: I remember how much I enjoyed Savoy Brown as a young guy. These days, their music seems a little juvenile even if they never had a comedy show to influence that thinking ;). Santana & his band was the opposite; I thought of their fans as a little more sophisticated than I cared to be. These recent days, I have enjoyed old & new Santana a good deal more than all those decades ago.

:) Steve, suspecting that appreciation for music stays much the same but evolves, just a little, for everyone.

Your take on music is something we have learned as we still maintain memories of some of the oldies but goodies. The dancing was also in its early stages in the early days and that has evolved too. Remember the jitterbug? The Jerk?
I am soo happy that your hearing has improved. My mother also wore hearing aides and she was amazed when she heard my voice the first time . It’s really the things that brings great joy in life that most importantly bring new transitions to improve our quality of life … and expands exponentially as time goes by.
