I have a few of these bushes along our bushline and I'm wondering what they are. Any ideas?

I know this is an old thread, but in Texas we call that roughleaf dogwood Cornus drummondii, which is a native shrub.

I believe red-stemmed dogwood is non-native. The red-stemmed dogwood stems are not the berry stems, but are the plant stems themselves.

Anyway, I've got an acre of these and the birds love the cover and the berries, so had to throw in my two cents.

I was going to say it was type of dogwood... I know those leaves anywhere! :D

We have the trees, the berries are different but the birds still eat them. :D

Are those berries edible for people consumption? Maybe in a mixed berry pie? Or in Muffins?
