What is this house plant?

My cousin dropped this off and wants me to re-pot it and bring it back to life.
Does anyone know what it is?
Can someone help me out please?

Someone who would be likely to know would be @so lucky . Just thinking about her.

Looks like some sort of bromeliad to me. I don't know the species name, but it's the one that makes the pink and purple flower spike.

Bromeliad… ‘Silver vase ‘. They are a lovey plant and produces an unusual beautiful spike flower which lasts for months. Once they send up a flower from the center of the plant they eventually die . Before the plant will die back it will send up pups- (are smaller plants sent up from the roots of the mother plant), growing around the outer area of the plant . The pups once 5-6” high remove from the mother plant , separate and plant into seperate pots to start a new plant . Starting the cycle over again until another bloom appears . Then rinse and repeat.

Thanks so much! I'm about to transplant this one. It already looks as if it's sending out little ones on the sides that I can split off.
