That second guy is really interesting. I'm going to find some more of his videos. Right now I'm going to go let the chickens out then pick some nettle from under our deck stairs, and make a cup of tea. (Will report back)
Snipped some young nettle tops, washed and steeped in boiling water for about 20 minutes. There is almost no taste; just kind of a "plant" taste. I added a little regular tea to it, and sweetener. While I had the tops all wilted down, I ate a few of those too. Not an identifiable taste there, either. And of course, no stinging, once they get hot water on them. I'm sure I will do it again.There is an almost unending supply.
