I have no clue.... But whatever it is, it is very strong, spreads crazily, & just won't die! I've tried everything short of a flamethrower.....

Pulled it, cut it, sprayed weed killer & covered with cardboard and put new dirt over, and sure enough it came back, busted through everything and has overgrown that spot again!!! Don't even know what it is....

Assume used Round-up. I'd go with 2-4D or better yet, CrossBow or generic CrossRoad.

2-4D, CrossBow will kill all broadleaf plants but leave grass alone.

Might take a sample to local fertilizer/Chem dealer. He'll know how to kill it.

I have it on my place too. The good news is, summer heat will kill it. My horses and sheep will eat it, but unfortunately, they'd eat the garden too. I pull it up by the wagon loads and layer with horse/sheep/chicken manure for compost. When I am weeding, the sheep will wait by the fence for me to throw them some over the fence. They'll BAA at me if I'm not fast enough.
