ACK!!! I guess it's a good thing that I mooshed it!! I couldn't have pruned it out tho... it was at the very base of a branch with about 4 tiny apples on it!! LOL

Seems they come and go in waves, some years much worse than others. It's easier to get them at the egg stage like you did. Otherwise you have to spray them, burn them out, or prune them out. They make a "tent" after they hatch out and they'll return to it every evening after munching on your tree. Usually I'll find several on each tree, mostly on the tips of the lower branches.

well... I'll go look again today. I didn't see any more... but... I wasn't exactly looking for them either!! LOL I'll be sure to check everything thoroughly today to make sure that I don't see any more.
