Last fall, I planted Amarillo carrots, yellow and sweet. I also grew for the second year, Purple of Sicily Cauliflower (Baker Creek) . Both were very good and fun to grow because of their color.

@AMKuska you have to get an early start on the beans. The first year I grew them they made vines like mad and finally produced in September. The next year, they produced earlier. I plant them in mid April. If that is too early for you, then maybe you would have to start them inside, until they acclimated to your area.

@baymule that explains it! I think I planted it way too late. I'll try again but in mid-april this year. :)
