What on earth is this flowering tree?

We have this tree in the backyard, we have no idea WHAT it is, its about 30ft tall and doesn't have a large spread...it grows mostly upright. It has 5 petals, white, the leaf is approx. 1.5 inches long, semi-glossed, smooth, and not serrated around the outside.

It does look like a flowering pear except for that little red center.

It looks a lot like my pear tree...but mine sets fruit. Yummy delicious fruit.... :tools

We have bradford pear trees in our back yard (non fruiting). Looks like these. Our smell horrendous when they bloom. Does it smell?

It does smell..but it smells nice

Gram has a late season Bartlett that looks like that with a nice soft smell.
