What's a good tomato for drying?

Last Summer I dried beefsteak, cherry and juliette tomatoes, and the juliettes were my favorite for drying! Great flavor and texture, I either halved or quartered them depending on size, and I never have removed seeds, didn't seem to be a problem for us... Let us know what you decide and how it works for you!

I think plum and cherry varieties are the best and easiest to dry. I do the chocolate cherry tomatoes. I also do the sun dried tomatoes in my car!

I have the whole thing documented on my blog from last August.
