Oh so pretty, so many water lilies <3 We have a hard time keeping roses alive. So I greatly admire yours. I especially like the center bottom row ones. They are the color I carried for my wedding 44 years ago, <3

Beautiful roses! Such pretty colors! You moved to Germany 6 years ago? Where are you from? I’ve lived in Texas all my life, it’s interesting to talk to people who live in other places!

I am from Taiwan, so it's a totally different life style and culture for me, also learned the language from zero. However, it's also the precious opportunity to slow down and reset the way life can be.

For example, I lived in an apartment and had only a small "indoor" balcony (people do so to increase the effective living space) in the past, which makes gardening more like a luxurious dream. But after moving here, in the first three year we had a small garden, that I can already practice a lot. After buying our own house, now I can really enjoy whatever I want to try.

I started my work immediately after university and till last year, I have already worked for more than 20 years, and honestly, no interests for any kind of corporate ladder. So I am much happier now than before.

Nice to meet new friends with similar hobby and interest, too :D

Wow, I bet you really are excited to have your own house with space to have a garden. What a Blessing! This site is so wonderful so that we can all talk garden, vegetables, flowers, dirt, rain, sunshine and how happy it all makes us. You are among people who understand how much you love your garden.
