i had 3 chickies hatch the past couple days! 1 bantam black and 2 lf faverolles (not sure on color yet-just fluffy yellow chicks)! i don't think any more will hatch but i'll see when i get home later and move the 3 out of the bator into the brooder.

@Kassaundra I never knew featherless chickens existed. Rudy is so ugly, he's cute. I hope Rudy stays healthy and grows up. Keep us updated on Rudy.

Nope no chance at all. The poultry industry knows all about his genetics, they have been trying to mix his genetics w/ meat birds for mass growing meat chickens in warm climates (like tropical) where now it is to hot to grow them ecomonically.

This gene was found in the 50's or 60's in the New Hampshire (I think) breed.

My pet chicken sells hilarious clothing for hens to keep the roosters from scratching their backs. Maybe they have a coat for your naked chick.
