i had 3 chickies hatch the past couple days! 1 bantam black and 2 lf faverolles (not sure on color yet-just fluffy yellow chicks)! :celebrate i don't think any more will hatch but i'll see when i get home later and move the 3 out of the bator into the brooder.

Poor guy. Any chance he will develop feathers? The fowl industry might like his genetics!
Nope no chance at all. The poultry industry knows all about his genetics, they have been trying to mix his genetics w/ meat birds for mass growing meat chickens in warm climates (like tropical) where now it is to hot to grow them ecomonically.

This gene was found in the 50's or 60's in the New Hampshire (I think) breed.
