Since Michelangelo finished the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel on the last day of October, I decided to see when he started ...

I still have plenty to do in the garden. Digging out one bed that needs it, is getting more difficult by the minute. Yeah, it's right against the south side of the greenhouse. That big sloping wall is directing rain water right onto that ground. This soil has so much gravel that I don't think it makes much difference when I dig it. The organic matter numbers are also high but the idea is to make them higher ... that dirt's gonna be heavy! Oooh!

The Easy garden ... o_O

It took Michelangelo something like 5 years ... looking up. Learned that he didn't paint the ceiling lying on his back. Charlton Heston got that wrong. (I wonder what else he got wrong.)

Awwwwww, Major!! You are one handsome fella! :) Good pic.

I've got onions, garlic, potatoes to plant for spring sprouting and a greens bed to put in, as well as a cold frame to build in which to grow the greens.

Need to haul way more chips for the garden, rake up all the leaves I can find to place there as well, and then go on the hunt for manure to place on the garden all winter.

Need to also haul chips to place around the apple trees, little by little, until they all have some chips going on.
