Of course not. It is just that usually there is some 'reason' given on the nightly news for why it is fluctuation at any given time.

If the price doesn't go up soon on its own, the Government (local, state, federal, or any combination of these) will raise their tax on gasoline and it will go up for that reason. . . . never to be taken off the price, of course.

Went past several stations posting $1.69 and grabbed at one for $1.59. Pleased with myself, I continued down the road past a few at $1.55. I was robbed! After supper I drove past a station with $1.52 gas.

Why, after $3 and $4 gas should I feel so put out for 'wasting' 70 cents? (10 gallons in the car.)

I noticed it was $1.47 in 'town' yesterday and didn't stop... Today my 'low fuel' light comes on...

Prices have jumped back up f a s t .... now $!.82 (from $1.42 about 3 weeks ago.)
