I wouldn't wait too long. It's better for everything to be done weeks before your first frost then too immature when Jackie boy comes to call.
I've sowed some broccoli, per the package instructions to sow on July 1. I have to do the cauliflower tomorrow and the brussel sprouts. But I'd hate to lose my fava bean seeds. I have tons of spinach and broccoli raab to put out though. What about peas? Ok in this heat?
