When to Plant Strawberries

I have some bare-root strawberry plants that I need to plant. Does anyone have any idea when to plant these?

I am in zone 5B/6A

Do you already have the plants or did you order them for delivery and they are on the way?

My strawberries are on the way, but its actually a couple weeks past when I could have first planted.

Usually they do not ship them until it is time to plant them for your zone. Whom did you order them from?

I did a search online and found something here for zone 6. It does say to plant grapes, blueberries and strawberries in March.

I am in zone 9 and planted some in the fall. I also planted some today and I am sure that they will do well.

Around the 2nd week of April I think.
That's when Henry Fields has mine scheduled for delivry and they usually scheduele stuff so it arrives near planting time.
