My sweet pea plants, planted in mid-March, have blossoms forming, but all of a sudden, the leaves have white spots all over them. It doesn't look like powdery mildew. The leaves suddenly almost look variegated. I'm wondering whether it is anthracnose or some other mosaic virus? After I watered the sweet peas heavily this morning, it seems they perked up a bit. It's super hot for sweet peas-- 95 degrees F here today and tomorrow. I hope they pull through this early June heat wave. Anyone have this problem with your sweet peas? All information appreciated.

They are blooming just fine and are so fragrant-- all colors. I don't think the white spots are serious at all.

I don't worry much about pests or fungus as long as it doesn't affect my harvest or flowers. My sweet peas are covered with powdery mildew but they are blooming their heads off.

Super, Mary. I feel the same way and am getting gorgeous blooms and fragrance, so I'm happy.
