Who Has To Work Today ?

Dicky how did you acquire a pet Emu ?
How about some emu picks? Pets or food?

NY A kid down the road knew we had Peacocks and came by the house wanting to get rid of a bunch of emu's, we took 3. Over the years 2 have escaped and were never caught.
CAT Here are a couple of pics I took today.
Also a couple of the hut I'm working on and one of my helpers. Also a pic of my helpers boyfriend!!!! Oops, it looks like I chopped off my helpers head (pun intended)!!!

soooo are there a lot of wild emu's in your neighborhood, or did the coyote's get them?

Thank you, NY.
They are some nice looking birds, aren't they?

CAT I think one ended up at animal control and was put up for adoption. Don't know where it went from there.
The other went down the road and was seen in a neighbors field with his ponies, we think.
Both of them got out within a couple months of one another. I believe that they needed more room than what we were giving them-but that's just my opinion.
I doubt if a coyote would prey on them, if they did I'd like to see that fight, my money would be on the emu.
By the way, I finished the emu hut today!!!!

THANX RICH
