Who or what is eating the leaves on my Marion (black) Berries??

ok..Just an update after my evening viewing -- I found a very slender 1" (perhaps) long worm that was a similar shade to the foliage and blended in very well.. I applied the above mentioned pyrethrin stuff and we'll see how things go.. I also put some on my two sunflowers which are just recently (the last few days) showing signs of something chomping on their leaves near the bottom of the plant -- but I saw nothing odd tonight visually..

I did run across a very interesting spider that I've never seen before but will put that in another thread -- that thing was scary looking..

My first thought was also grasshoppers, but those aren't nighttime only critters. Neither are Japanese beetles. Glad you found the culprit.
