There are boards out there for every persuasion. I mean every persuasion...
So what is the motivation for joining a gardening forum?
I'm a simple person, so I would think that people would join sites like TEG because they have an interest, or even a passion for gardening. Or maybe they just need a question answered. Naturally people like to spend time with people with whom they have something in common, and have conversations about that common interest.
That's what brought me here. I stayed because I like the folks who contribute, and I have learned a lot, and laughed a lot, and made a few friends I hope. It's about gardening I thought.
Do you suppose some people join initially for the actual gardening part then veer off and try to bully people into thinking like them
on subjects that are controversial, inflammatory, and have nothing to do with what's actually growing out their very own, personal,
back ( or front!) door?
I don't know, I just wondered.
