Wifey gave me an Air Rifle

When my kids were small, daughter 5 years old, son 9 years old, they had their own BB guns. I went to town, left them with their father.

I came home to a son with a fat swelled up lip and half a permanent front tooth shot off by none other than little sister herself. Son claimed his sister shot at a stump, close range, the BB bounced off and hit him on the lip. Took him the next day and got his tooth bonded.

Years later when both were adults, the truth came out. Little sister aimed directly at him. He lied to cover for her because he didn't want her to get a whipping. LOL

I used to blame everything on my sister so I wouldn't get a licken'. It worked because she did soooo many wrong thing that they believed she had to have done what I was blaming on her.
I believe I'll fes up tomorrow, I think i'll stop and get flowers to put on Mom's grave as I'm telling her the truth!!!!
I still haven't found where they hid my BB gun.

My kids shared an Ithaca single shot 22. Little Bitty short thing, perfect for kids. They spent hours shooting cans with it.

I grew up with shot guns. My dad was marksman. His son, couldn't hit a barn. When I went hunting with dog, after I missed first few birds, he'd look at me like. "Really?". He'd find them, hold the point, and I'd miss.....

@seedcorn I am right handed and can't hit the broad side of a barn. But I swing that rifle up on my left shoulder ........ and I am deadly. Pistol- either hand. Maybe you should switch shoulders.

Nah, dog died, I got married, kids, no free time, too many houses, quit hunting. Many years later eye doctor found had some eye challenges. So now I garden more

My wife hid my air rifle and won't give it back...
I've always wondered just how bad it hurt to be shot with a BB gun and I just want her to let me shoot her in the rear end with my air rifle. Of course I would have her permission before I would actually make the shot.
The reason I want to shoot her is she claims women have a higher threshold of pain than men so I don't want to shoot myself as I know that would hurt.
Anyway she claims I must have misplaced the rifle, but I'm sure she hid it.
