Curious... do you bat your quilts for curtains?, just back them with fabric?
I was thinking about making one for my bedroom and just using a heavy-ish fabric for the backing.

I have never batted the curtains, I usually use rather heavy fabric for the "pieced or quilted" ones, so the 2 layers (front and lining) are usually more then enough. I want it to still have a curtain look and not like I was a frat girl hanging a blanket over the window.

I know frat are boys and sorotities are girls, but it had a smoother sound frat girl vs sorority girl, besides frat girl sounds more like someone using bedding for curtains. lol
