Just got these in the mail today, they are from a quilt block exchange from around the world, including England, New Zealand, Georgia, Alabama, Maine, Oregon, Oklahoma, and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. This is the layout I plan, w/ some special touches, and the center will be one big block.

I also finished the crochet portion of a wedding gift I am working on. The colors and style are from her gift registry. Now I am working on the fabric quilt portion.

I have started working on the fabric side. Here are the first 3 number blocks. I designed them. What I am wanting this to be is a geometric column off center running the length of the whole clothe quilt side. Similar to this

I am wanting it to be a geometric column, that dawns on you it is the wedding date, not scream a date set of numbers. And of course modern contemporary feel.

Do you guys think I'm still on target?
