Work but without being paid

We just got the word that those Federal Workers such as the IRS people that will process the new tax returns for tax refunds were just called back to work without being paid. Then the word is that at least in very liberal Oregon ... they will NOT qualify for unemployment benefits. The pelosi and shumer crowd are on a power trip to impose their agenda that is not for our National security and financial health .

I think someone else is on a power trip, and that someone is acting like a spoiled toddler that doesn't get his way.

Also I don't think this board is meant for political discussions.

It is a very unfortunate situation which we all hope will get resolved soon, but as @thejenx said political discussions is discouraged here as they tend to get people worked up and arguing
